As an introduction to designing tableware, these one-off pieces are the result of training towards creating a JXTA tableware line. Apprentices in the Ceramics Lab have been designing different table-setting pieces, based on the skills and techniques they are currently learning and fine-tuning. These bowls were designed with the purpose for functional dining and serving, and the vases for decor and table setting.
